Delhi University (DU) released the second cut-off list for UG Admission for session 2017-18 today. After the counselling and admission of candidates selected from the first cut off list for the year 2017, DU has announced the second cut-off list for the left out seats in various colleges.The second cut-off list for Delhi University observed a downfall of 3% for the year 2017 admission. And the highest cut-off as per the second list of DU is 98.25% for BA Psychology (Hons) in Lady Shri Ram College for Women.
Delhi University announced its first cut-off list for the admission 2017 on 23rd June and ended up the counselling process on 3oth June. And the highest cut off of DU as per the first cut off list 2017 was 99.66% in SGTB Khalsa College for BSc (Hons) Electronics.
DU Second Cut-off for Admission 2017
Candidates seeking admission in Delhi University for any UG Courses can check out the second cut-off list for the session 2017 on the official website of DU i.e www.du.ac.in. Here are some highlights of the second cut-off list of DU for the admission in UG Courses for the year 2017.
- As per the second cut-off list, Lady Shri Ram College for Women announced the highest cut-off of 98.25% for the admission in BA (Hons) Psychology for session 2017-18.
- Second highest is of 97.75% for the course of BA (Hons) Journalism in LSR.
- Whereas LSR under Delhi University has announced the cut-off of 97.5% in BA English (Hons).
- In the second cut-off list of DU, 97.2% has been declared for the admission of candidates in the course of BA Economic (Hons) in Hindu College.
- And the lowest cut-off as per the second cut of list of DU is 44.75% for BA (Hons) Sanskrit in Lakshmibai College.
Candidates eligible for the admission in DU as per the second cut-off list for the session 2017-18 can attend the counselling from 1st to 4th July in the respective colleges from 10 am to 1 pm (morning colleges) and 4 pm to 7 pm (evening colleges). Fee for the same will be received online from the candidate till 5th July 2017 by DU and the seat will only be confirmed after the payment is received by the respective college.
Delhi University third Cut-off List 2017
DU will reveal the third cut off list for the admission in UG Courses for the session 2017-18 after the completion of the admission process according to the second cut-off list. DU will end up the final process of the admission for the second cut off list candidates by 5th July. And the third cut off list for the rest of the seat in Delhi University colleges will be announced on 7th July 2017.
In 2017, DU has received a number of 2.5 Lakh application for the admission in various UG courses for the seats of just 54,000 candidates.
