The latest SuperSport Bike models that have been launched by Ducati India are the SuperSport and SuperSport S. Ducati India has introduced the new model in its line-up to offer more options to its customers.

Ducati Launches Ducati SuperSport Bike In India
The Ducati SuperSport model that has been recently launched in India by Ducati India starts at a price of Rs 12.08 lakh (ex-showroom). Ducati has launched the SuperSport bike in two variants that carry different features. While the first is the standard variant of the Ducati SuperSport model, the other one is the high-spec S variant of the Ducati SuperSport model.
Specifications of the SuperSport Bike Variants Launched by Ducati
According to report, one of the differences between the two variants of the Ducati SuperSport model is in the suspension systems. According to report, the standard version of the Ducati SuperSport model uses 43 Marzocchi front forks and a Sachs monoshock rear unit, the other variant – Ducati SuperSport S gets an uprated Ohlins suspension setup both at the front and rear. Another difference is that the S variant of the Ducati SuperSport model gets a standard bi-directional quickshifter.
Both the variants are priced according to the features that the Ducati SuperSport model carries. While the standard Ducati SuperSport is priced at Rs 12.08 lakh (ex-showroom), the S variant of the Ducati SuperSport model comes with a price tag of Rs 13.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
As of now, both the variants- Ducati SuperSport and the Ducati SuperSport S will come in Ducati Red colour. The SuperSport S variant of the Ducati SuperSport will get a Star White Silk colour option as well whih will be available November 2017 onwards.
Specifications of the SuperSport Bike Variants Launched by Ducati
Both the variants of the Ducati SuperSport model – the Ducati SuperSport and the Ducati SuperSport S will use the 937 cc Testastretta 11-degree L-twin engine. The powerful engine produces 110 bhp of power and 93 Nm of peak torque.
The petrol motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The unit also gets revised crankcase and cylinder heads. The kerb weight of the Ducati SuperSport model is measured at 210 kg and the power spread in both the variants is wider through the rev range for effortless in-city use.
Both the variants of the Ducati SuperSport model comes with Ride-by-Wire and three riding modes. These modes are – Sport, Touring and Urban. The Ducati Supersport variants also get a 3-level Bosch ABS and 8-level Ducati Traction Control.
Bookings of the superbike and competition
Ducati India has started accepting bookings for the Ducati SuperSport model and deliveries will commence immediately. The bookings have begun across Ducati dealerships and the token amount reserved for the Ducati SuperSport models has been fixed at Rs. 1 lakh.
Primarily, the Ducati SuperSport competes with the sports tourers in the Indian market. The Ducati SuperSport model is expected to rival the Kawasaki Ninja 1000 and Suzuki GSX-S1000F.
