Fast and Furious 8 – Box Office Collection (Day 1 till Date)

Fast and Furious 8 released worldwide last week and the box office collection of the movie is breaking records. Fate of the Furious has turned out to be one of the biggest blockbusters across the globe. It is said that the Vin Diesel starrer latest franchise broke all the record of Fast and Furious 7 in India.

The opening week of Fast & Furious 8 has made the collection of Rs 71 crore at the box office in India alone by surpassing its prequel that made a collection of Rs 70.83 crore. It is the highest grossing Hollywood film that has made a whopping business across the country.

Collection of Fast & Furious 8 at box office

The eighth edition of the Fast & Furious series had hit the screens on April 12, making the opening collection of $532 million across the globe which is equivalent to Rs 3400 crore.

In the US alone, the movie Fate of the Furious has made a collection of $100.2 million while $432.2 million business was made in rest of the world. Fast & Furious 8 collected a business of $188.85 million in the opening week at China alone.

The Hollywood’s greatest flick, Fate of the Furious marks the return of Vin Diesel. The movie is a Universal Pictures production and Directed by F Gary Gray. The film’s cast includes

In India, the movie, Fast and Furious 8 was released across 1600 theatres in four regional languages including Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Tamil other than English.

The first edition of this action thriller was released in 2001, which made the business of $4.4 billion at the box office. However, for the Fast & Furious fans, the good news is, the filmmakers have scheduled the ninth and the tenth sequel to the movie, which is likely to release in 2019 and 2021, respectively.

So, just enjoy the eighth edition of Fast & Furious and wait for the next franchise to launch across the world.
