Fee in Chandigarh’s Panjab University & All It’s Affiliated Colleges Increased | Check 2018 Fee Structure

Panjab University (Chandigarh) has rolled out a decision of fee hike with the new session 2018-19. The committee has approved the changes in the fee structure for the all-new session 2018-19 for UG & PG Courses. Students have to be pull-out more money for higher education in the city.

Last year as well, the committee has proposed fee hike of 5-10 %. As of now in 2018, it has given nod to the same in Chandigarh. If you are willing to take admission in any PU affiliated college in Punjab or Chandigarh then check out the new fee structure for the session 2018-19.

Panjab University (PU) Fee Hike 2018: Here’s the new fee structure

Panjab University Chandigarh syndicate has approved the fee hike of 5% for the new students from 2018 onwards. Although the same will be forwarded to Senate for the final approval & then the new fee will be implemented. PU fee hike will be also be implemented in the current ongoing session for Indians as well as foreign students.

In a meeting which was headed by VC of PU, a nod has been given to the fee hike of 5% on tuition fee from 2018 onwards. Here’s the new fee structure for PU affiliated colleges in Punjab & Chandigarh form 2018-2019 session.

B.Com – Rs. 20,530 (Punjab) & Rs 20,030 (Chandigarh)

B.A- Rs.  11,350 (Punjab) & Rs. 13,470 (Chandigarh)

B.Sc- Rs. 12,760 (Punjab) & Rs. 14,830 (Chandigarh)

M.Com- Rs. 20,938 (Punjab) & Rs. 20,530 (Chandigarh)

M.A- Rs. 15,580 (Punjab & Chandigarh)

M.Sc- Rs. 18,590 (Punjab & Chandigarh)

More changes in PU Chandigarh for the session 2018-19

It has been doubted that the fee hike might decrease the number of students in the PU affiliated colleges in Punjab. On the other hand in the same meeting, the seniors have also focused to provide better infrastructure, hygiene & amenities to the students from 2018 onwards.

Also, a committee has been formed to look at the salaries & its related issues of the PU staff. As Ludhiana colleges have been alleged to give 100-110% rate of dearness allowance, whereas it has been around 136% as per the 6th Pay Commission.

So get ready students to pay more as a fee in any of the PU affiliated colleges in Chandigarh or Punjab for the higher studies from 2018 onwards.
