Food Corporation of India has finally started the procedure of filling the application form for the various posts. The FCI released the notification last week regarding the recruitment process and now the submission of application form has started on the official website. The candidates who are eligible for the posts in FCI can fill and submit their application form on the official website. Here are the important details regarding the FCI Recruitment 2019.
Total Vacancies in FCI
As per the official notification released by the Fodd Corporation of India, there are total 4103 vacancies in FCI. These vacancies are for the post of Junior Engineer, Assistant, and Stenographer. The vacancies are divided into zone wise i.e North Zone, South Zone, East Zone, West Zone, and Northeast Zone.
For the North East Zone, there are total 291 vacancies. For the North Zone, there are total 1999 vacancies. For the South Zone, there are total 540 vacancies. For the East Zone, there are total 538 vacancies and for the west zone, there are total 735 vacancies. The candidates can check the detailed notification for post wise vacancy details.
FCI Recruitment 2019 – Last Date, Application Fee & Other Details
The procedure for filling the application form has started on the official website. The application form filling process was supposed to start on 23rd February but it was postponed. Now from 28th February, the procedure of filling the application form has started. The last and final date to fill the application form filling and submission is 30th March 2019.
The candidates of General category and OBC category will have to pay the application fee of Rs 500 while for the SC/ST and Ex-Serviceman candidates, there is no application fee. The women candidates are also exempted from paying the application fee.
The maximum age limit for the JE/AG II post is 28 years, for the post of Steno/Typist, the maximum age limit is 25 years. For AG III post, the maximum age limit is 27 years.
