GAIL India Recruitment 2018: GAIL (India) Limited has invited applications from the candidates for the various posts. The application process has started online on the official website and candidates can check the details regarding eligibility criteria in the official notification. GAIL India Recruitment 2018 – Important Dates & Application Fee
As per the notification released by GAIL India Limited for the various posts recruitment, the procedure of application form filling started on 14th November 2018. The last date to fill the application form is 30th November 2018. The last date to pay the application fee online is 30th November 2018. The candidates are advised to fill their application form online on or before 30th November 2018.
The admit card release date and the exam date will be notified later on. The candidates who are from General Category and OBC category will have to deposit a sum of Rs 50 as application fee. Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PH category are exempted from the application fee.
GAIL India Recruitment 2018 – Vacancy Details
As per the official notification released by GAIL, there are total 160 vacancies. For the post of JE in Chemical, there are 2 vacancies, 1 vacancy for the JE (Mechanical), 6 vacancies for the Forman post (Electrical), 25 vacancies for the Forman (Instrumentation), 22 vacancies for the post of Forman (Civil) and 2 vacancies for the Forman (Mechanical). For the post of Assistant (Stores & purchase), there is 1 vacancy, 10 vacancies for the Accounts Assistant post, 21 vacancies for the Marketing Assistant and 2 vacancies for the Assistant HR post.
For the post of Junior Superintendent (Official Language), there are 5 vacancies, 2 vacancies for Junior Superintendent (HR), 10 vacancies for Junior Chemist post, 17 vacancies for Technician (Mechanical), 14 vacancies for technician (Instrumentation), 6 vacancies for Technician (Electrical) and 14 vacancies for technician (telecom & telemetry). These vacancies are further divided into category wise.
The vacancies are also divided into Grades. Junior Engineer vacancies in GAIL falls under Grades S – 7, Foreman, Junior Chemist and Junior Superintendent fall under Grade S – 5 and technician, Assistant, Accounts Assistant falls under Grade S – 3. The pay scale for these grades is different. For Grade S – 7, the pay scale is Rs 16300 – 38500. For Grade S – 5, the pay scale is Rs 14500 – 36000 and for the Grade S – 3, the pay scale is Rs 12500 – 33000.
