Game of Thrones season 7: Episode 1 Sets New Television Record | Check Out How

The much- awaited British television series, Games of Thrones Season 7 has broken all the records with its very first episode on HBO last weekend. The television’s fiction drama, Game of Thrones 7 season was premiered in over 173 countries including India and with drew a breath taking record of 10.1 million viewer, which is far higher than the viewership of Game of Thrones Season 6 premiere.

The Dragonstone made the wheel spinning for the Game of Thrones (GOT) Season 7 in episode 1. Also, the cameo made by the pop star Ed Sheeran was an icing on the top. All the previous seasons of Game to Thrones was a complete package filled with action, suspense, thriller, drama, conspiracy, bloodshed but the seventh season of GOT is a step ahead of all these. Going by the success and record breaking view on its opening day, Game of Thrones Season is speculated to be the most watched television series ever.

The premiere episode of Game of Thrones Season 7 is the Mother of Dragons’ (Daenerys Targaryen) homecoming to her abandoned ancestral home “Dragonstone” (as shown in the third series of GOT). Now when Daenerys returns back she claims the Seven Kingdoms and Iron throne currently, possessed by Cersei Lannister. Ed Sheeran who played the role of a soldier was seen crooning some folk songs after being attacked by Arya Stark who took revenge against Lannisters.

As per the previous records, the sixth edition of Game of Thrones set the average views of 25.7 million viewers per episode via any means, making it the highest record for any HBO series on TV. And now it is likely to break the record with the season 7 of GOT. Not only this, people are so fascinated by the Game of Thrones season 7 that there are massive searches on the internet on the show’s locations for tourism purpose.
