GATE 2019 Exam Details | Starting Date, Last Date & Other Important Information

GATE 2019: Indian Institute of Technology Madras has released the official brochure for the GATE 2019 Exam. All interested candidates who have completed their Graduation and are preparing for the GATE Exam for the year 2019 can check the brochure of the GATE Exam on the official website. Aspirants can check it on http://gate.iitm.ac.in. This year, there will be one new paper added in the Exam i.e Statistics. Here are some of the important details regarding the GATE Exam.

GATE 2019 Exam Online Application

The online application process of filling the application form will begin on 1st September. Candidates will have to apply online on the official website of GATE. No other modes of application will be accepted. For online applications, candidates will have to register first at the GOAPS (GATE Online Application Processing System). The link of online applications for the GATE 2019 exam will be made active on the official website.

The last date to fill out and submit online applications for the GATE exam is 21st September, however, the extended date is 1st October. In the extended time period candidates will have to pay extra application fee. The admit cards for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2019 will be out on 4th January.

GATE 2019 Exam

This year, IIT Madras will organise the GATE Exam. The official website of GATE 2019 is http://gate.iitm.ac.in. According to the official brochure of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2019, the exam will be conducted in total 24 subjects. The subjects are also referred to as papers. The exam of GATE will be conducted online (Computer Based Test).

The candidates can only appear in only one paper of the GATE Exam. The Examination will be held on 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th February 2019 in two sessions. The exact details of the examination will soon be notified on the GATE 2019 website.
