GATE 2019 Registrations From 1st September – Know Important Points

The online application process or the registration process for the GATE 2019 Exam will begin from next month. The candidates who have cleared or passed the Graduation and preparing for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering will be able to fill the application form from 1st September. The organizing institute for the GATE 2019 exam is IIT Madras. The official brochure for the GATE Exam 2019 is available on the official website http://gate.iitm.ac.in/. Candidates are advised to read the whole exam brochure clearly and then apply online from 1st September. Candidates will only be able to apply online for the exam till 1st September. The closing date of online application is 21st September.

However, the extended closing date for the GATE 2019 exam is 1st October. But in this period candidates will have to pay some extra application fee. Normally, if the candidates will apply in between 1st September 201st September than they will have to pay Rs.750 (Female, SC, ST) and Rs.1500 for other candidates. But during the extended period, the fee will be hiked by Rs.500. So try to submit the application form on or before 21st September.

The process of filing applications for GATE 2019 is totally online. No other means of Applications will be accepted. Candidates will have to submit all details for the registration online on the GOAPS website. In the registration process the candidates will also have to upload the documents such as degree certificate, photo, Signature etc. Above to this, a valid ID proof is necessary to enter in the application form such as Aadhar ID, Voter ID, PAN Card, Passport, License etc.

The candidates who will register for the GATE exam 2019 will get an Enrollment ID. This ID will be sent after the registration process. This ID is important for the future communications. Candidates will also have to choose a password during the enrolment on the GOAPS website. Make sure that the password is not easily guessed by anyone. Keep the password safe and secure.

The GATE exam is tentatively scheduled to be held on 2nd Feb, 3rd Feb, 9th Feb and 10th Feb. The admit cards for the GATE Exam 2019 will be available online on 4th January 2019. Candidates will have to download the admit cards online from the official website.
