Too Soon To Say Anything in the Sector 16 case:

We at Chandigarh Metro believe it is too soon to get to a conclusion about the Sector 16 incident. It is still unclear who installed the camera in the Girl’s washroom in the PG. Although, the incident is still very chilling and a blot on the Chandigarh town which is known as a safe haven for the residents of neighbouring states who send their children for higher education here.

There have been similar incidents in the past and the security of women is becoming a question of great concern. Last month a homeowner in Sector 49 entered his flat forcibly which he had rented out to a few women. The camera installed in the Sector 16, Chandigarh PG was indeed a job of a mischievous element who wanted to use the footage for immoral purposes.
