Gujarat Board GSEB 10th & 12th Result 2018 | Over 1800 Students Caught Cheating

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) announced Class 12 result for the year 2018 on its official website. But on the other hand, the scrutiny team of Gujarat Board has found out almost 1800 students cheating during the exam. A day after the result of Gujarat Board HSC 2018 exam result on the official website, this act as a shocking news from the Board.

Whereas on one hand, the students of Class 12 of GSEB must be celebrating their marks for the year 2018. And on the other hand, Board has been planning to hear from the culprit students of copying in Class 12 exam in the year 2017.

Gujarat Board (GSEB) Class 10th & 12th Result 2018 Out

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) on 9th May 2018 declared the HSC (Class 12) result in the region. Although the Board in Gujarat has only announced the Class 12 Science stream result for the year 2018. Yet Commerce & Arts students of GSEB have been awaiting their Board exam result 2018. As of now no official announcement regarding the dates of GSEB Commerce & Arts stream exam results 2018 has been out.

Almost 1.35 Lakh student appeared for Class 12 Science stream exam conducted by Gujarat Board in the month of March 2018. Whereas in the year 2017, the passing percentage of GSEB 2018 XII science stream students were around 72% & in this year it has been declined by 9%. In 2018 as well, girls of GSEB Board have outshined boys in terms of marks in Class 12 Board exam.

1800 Students Caught Cheating during GSEB HSC 2017

Whereas on the other hand, Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board have ordered all the District Educational Officers (DEO) to examine the CCTV footage of 2017 Class 12 Board exam of Gujarat region. And in the first round of scrutiny, 1800 number of students caught copying during the exam out of 2500 students. The numbers are expected to increase with more district reports. Almost 236 students were already dismissed by the invigilators of different districts during the GSEB Class 12 exam 2017 due to copying. But after the scrutiny of CCTV footage, the numbers are just shocking.

GSHSEB has decided to look after the CCTV footages by themselves & then the students will be called for the hearing of the same.
