City beautiful- Chandigarh turns 51 on 1st November 2017 and Chandigarhians are in full to have a blast on the Happy Birthday of the city. Clean and Green city of India, Chandigarh last year only celebrated Golden Jubilee and today its been 51 years. Le Corbusier, who has been known as the father of Chandigarh planned the city in 1952 but its formation took 14 more years. And in 1966 only it was declared the capital of Punjab & Haryana state.
And today is the time to celebrate our city beautiful’s birthday will full of enjoyment and happiness. With music, masti and much more, Chandigarh Administration has been holding 5 days long event for the 51st establishment day of the city.

As Chandigarh turns 51, people of the city beautiful is all set for the birthday bash. From 1st to 5th November 2017, Chandigarhians will be indulged in the different events for the commencement of Chandigarh’s 51st establishment Day.

BBC in the year 2015 has announced Chandigarh to be the perfect cities of the World in terms of Cultural growth, modernisation and architecture.
