The most awaited annual event of Chandigarh is almost here and if all goes according to the plan then you might be able to go for a short helicopter ride during Rose Festival 2017. Rose Garden, Chandigarh has been decorated for the 3 day event (Rose Fest) which is scheduled to be held from 17th to 19th February 2017.
This time for 2017, the municipal corporation of Chandigarh has some bigger plan for people visiting the Rose Festival at Rose Garden in Chandigarh. Chandigarh MC has planned to organise a helicopter ride for the visitors at Rose Festival 2017.
Helicopter Ride at Rose Festival 2017, Chandigarh
Taking the idea from Surajkund International Crafts Mela, Chandigarh MC has decided to show the aerial view of Rose festival 2017 to the visitors in a helicopter. We know you must be excited after reading this, so, here’s some more information about the chopper ride which has been planned at Rose Festival 2017 Chandigarh.
- Total duration of the helicopter ride would be 6 to 7 minutes in air.
- The helicopter will accommodate 6 to 7 people in one go.
- Aerial route of the helicopter will cover entire Rose Garden & Sector 17 plaza.
- Tickets for the same can be purchased on spot.
- The tentative cost has been kept at Rs. 3000 per person for the helicopter ride at rose fest 2017 in Chandigarh.
Although till now it has not been confirmed yet, but one company has expressed the interest and has coated to charge Rs. 3000 per ride. Earlier MC had asked for interest from companies and over 3 different companies have filled the tender. The final decision over the would be taken soon.
