This is How Holi is Celebrated in Chandigarh (Pictures)

Holi, the festival of colours is celebrated in Chandigarh with great enthusiasm. Despite been known as the best city for older people to reside, Chandigarh has the most zestful youngster crowd. And when it comes to a festival like Holi, Chandigarh again scores big over other cities of India.

Cars, Open Jeeps, Gypsies, Tractors, Bikes, Scooters and what not! You’ll see boys and girls vrooming around the city beautiful all drenched in colours. Hooting, whistling and of course loud music can easily be heard even if you are inside your house. Oh! we forgot one thing. Holi celebrations in Chandigarh can not be complete without a special mention to our dear mama ji.

Chandigarh Traffic Police (Again one of the best Traffic Police Force in India) makes sure that no nuisance is created on city roads. Eve teasing and other anti-social activities are not at all tolerated. Special nakas are laid to stop and grab such people.

We have collected few pictures to show you a glimpse of what the festival of Holi looks like in Chandigarh. Enjoy!
