Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India has launched the revamped avatar of the popular Activa in India. The company has launched Activa 5G in India. To recall the Activa 5G was first unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018 which was held in February. Thi is the latest avatar of Activa. The new Activa has been introduced with the DLX variant with the regular variant.

The new Activa 2018 is the fifth generation of the automatic scooter. After it was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018, the price of the two-wheeler is listed on the website of Honda. The new Activa 2018 is launched in two variants ad the price of the vehicle starts at Rs.52,460. The first variant is Activa 5G STD and the price is Rs.52460. The second variant is Activa 5G DLX and is priced at Rs.54,325. The on road price of Honda Activa 5G STD is Rs.56,175 and the on road price of Honda Activa 5G DLX is Rs.58.147
Features of Activa 5G
The new Activa 5G 2018 does not have major changes but it is a just a facelift of Activa 4G. There are some more contemporary features in the new Activa 5G. well, if we talk about the cosmetics and engine there are no significant changes. HMSI has launched the Activa 5G 2018 in two different colours including Pearl Spartan Red and Dazzle Yellow Metallic colour. There are 6 more shades of the Activa which include Matte Selene Silver Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, Majestic Brown Metallic, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Trance Blue and Black.
The DLX variant of the Activa 5G comes with a digi-analogue instrument cluster. Both the variants of Activa 5G have all LED headlamp and the chrome styling inserts. At the front, there is a small hook on the footboard which can be used to carry small bags. The new Activa 5G is also integrated with Day Light running lamps. In the new Activa 5G 2018, there is a service reminder and the ECO mode that will allow the riders to track the efficiency of fuel.
In terms of mechanism, Activa 5G is same as the Activa 4G model. The engine of the two-wheeler is 110 cc which produces 9Nm of torque and 8bhp of power. The top speed of the Activa 5G is 83 Kmph. The fuel tank capacity of the Activa 5G is 5.3 Litres and it gives overall riding range of 238.5 Km. The mileage of the Activa 5G is 45 Kmpl. The kerb weight of the Activa 5G is 109 Kg. The wheelbase is 1238 mm, length is 1761 mm, width is 710 mm and the height is 1158 mm.
