Honda Amaze Facelift 2018 Coming To India Soon | Honda City Like Design

Honda Amaze was driving crazy sales for the Japanese automaker in the once chaotic entry level sedan segment in India. But today 9/10 people will easily recognise it as the car that just does not belong there anymore. Amaze was the first Honda car to carry a diesel engine and was an instant hit in the market but the constant updates by Maruti Suzuki Dzire and the entry of Figo Aspire and Ameo made it feel a tad bit older. However, an improved and more upmarket Honda Amaze is on its way to the Indian shores.

Honda amaze to Get Honda City’s styling Cues

The 1.5-litre diesel engine made its debut in the Honda Amaze in India which helped the Japanese car maker to sell the car like hot cakes. However, if there was something that was never its forte was the design. The interiors of the Amaze were plain boring and just did not scream premium at all, but with the new facelift Honda has apparently worked on the feedback.

The new Honda Amaze 2018 will come with a more upmarket design and will borrow styling cues directly from the Honda City itself. The redesigned headlamps will follow the city’s design structure and so will be the front grille. The Amaze will be based on the same platform by Honda as the previous generation but will some with improved space. The same engine options from the current model will be carried forward into the new Honda Amaze facelift 2018 but with improved insulation to the cabin.

Price and Launch Date of the Honda Amaze Facelift 2018

The Honda Amaze will be launched in India next year and will be one of the cars that Honda was planning for the market over the course of three years. One of these six cars is also rumoured to be the comeback Honda Civic which will sit above the Honda City C-Segment sedan.

On the pricing front expect the new Honda Amaze facelift of 2018 to launch for a premium of 20,000-30,000 over the outselling model which will put it in direct competition with the Tata Zest, Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Volkswagen Ameo and the Ford Figo Aspire.
