Honda CBR650R 2019 Bookings Open In India For Rs 15000, Check All Details Here

Japanese motorcycle brand Honda has announced that bookings of Honda CBR650R 2019 will open in India for Rs 15000 from February 20, 2019. The all-new 2019 CBR650R was showcased in an EICMA motorcycle show held in November 2018 in Milan. This bike is not yet launched in India but it would be coming soon in early 2019. The New 650cc sports segment and tourer bike will replace the current CRB650F model.

Engine and Power of 2019 CBR650R

The new Honda CBR 650R has got a powerful 649cc liquid cooled in-line four-cylinder engine which will produce a maximum horsepower of 93 bhp and a maximum peak torque of 64 Nm at 12000 rpm. Honda has also mated these motorcycles with a 6-speed gearbox. In order to reduce the weight of motorcycle Honda has given a 15.4-liter fuel tank which will deliver 20 kmpl of fuel efficiency which is a lot more in 650cc sports segment.

Updates and technology in the new CBR650R

Apart from this, the new Honda CBR650R has got an aggressive rider position. The clip-on handlebars of the bike have been lowered by 30mm while, the rider footpegs are higher and further rear set by 6mm and 3mm, respectively. The CBR650R comes equipped with 41mm USD forks at the front from Showa and light-weight die-cast aluminum five-spoke wheels with tubeless tyres. In addition to it, Honda offers the 650R with Selectable Torque Control (Honda’s form of Traction Control), slipper clutch and a quick-shifter.

Talking about the design of this motorcycle the 2019 Honda CBR650R takes inspiration from its larger sibling, the CBR1000RR Fireblade. CBR650R has got two headlamps, disclosed engine, and a shorter tail, which give this motorcycle a sharp and a unique sporty look.

Pricing of CBR650R 2019

The 2019 Honda CBR 650R will be available in a range of two color options that Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic. Pricing for the new middleweight category motorcycle is not yet disclosed by Honda but will be announced soon to its launch date. The CBR650R will give a direct competition to the Kawasaki ninja 650 and the Yamaha R6 once launched.
