Finally, Honeypreet Insan has confessed plotting violence in Panchkula. According to report, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case has told a special court that Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh’s adopted daughter Honeypreet Insan has confessed to have plotted the unrest in Panchkula that left at least 35 dead and several injured in the city.

As per reports, the violence in Panchkula and other parts of the country that followed the conviction of Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, Dera Sacha Sauda chief, by a special CBI court in Panchkula on August 25, were planned by Honeypreet Insan, the adopted daughter of rape convict Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh. The dera chief was convicted in the 15-year old rape case and was awarded 20 years imprisonment by the CBI court on August 28.
The special court was informed by the SIT (Special Investigation Team) probing the violence, that Honeypreet Insan has confessed that she plotted the unrest in Panchkula that left at least 35 dead and hundreds injured. During the investigation, Honeypreet Insan also revealed that she had prepared a guide map of Panchkula before the verdict in the rape case and that she had planned the unrest much before the riots actually broke out.
This is how Honeypreet Insan instigated the crowd
According to the report, the officials of the SIT investigating the violence stated that Honeypreet Insan has confessed to have prepared a proper plan to instigate riots in Panchkula. The officials informed the court about Honeypreet Insan and her associate Sukhdeep Kaur’s involvement in the violence in Panchkula and pursued over an extension of their custody.
Honeypreet Insan confessed that she prepared the plan to instigate violence in Panchkula. Honeypreet Insan also confessed that she carried out campaigning to instigate the crowd and the aim was achieved through video clips. The Special Investigation Team stated that Sukhdeep Kaur, who was accompanying Honeypreet Insan in the Innova car when both were arrested by the Haryana Police, has also confessed to her involvement in the Panchkula violence.
Rs. 1.25 crore used to instigate the crowd
As per the report, Honeypreet Insan’s driver has stated that she had disbursed Rs 1.25 crore in Panchkula prior to the verdict in the rape case by the special CBI court in Panchkula. It also stated that this money was distributed in Panchkula to create law and order problems.
