Huawei sub-brand Honor has launched its second quad camera smartphone Honor 9 Lite in India. The new phone was launched in an event in New Delhi. The biggest USP of the quad camera smartphone is its dual rear and dual front camera and the latest EMUI 8.0 OS with Android Oreo 8.0. The phone is launched as Flipkart Exclusive. Price & First Sale of Honor 9 Lite
Huawei sub-brand Honor has launched the two variants of the new phone. The first one is with 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and the price of this variant is Rs.10,999. The second comes with 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and the price of this variant is Rs.14,999. The first sale of Honor 9 Lite will kick off on 12 am IST on January 21 and the second sale at 12 pm on the same day on Flipkart. As of now the launch offers only includes 10 percent discount on Citibank credit/debit cards.
Specifications Of Honor 9 Lite Smartphone
The new phone Honor 9 Lite is launched in three color variants – Sapphire Blue, Midnight Black, and Glacial Grey. The phone has a dual front camera setup with a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. At the back, there is also a same dual camera with a 13MP primary sensor and 2MP secondary sensor. At the back panel, there is a fingerprint sensor too.
The phone has a display of 5.65-inches. The display is full HD+ IPS display and the resolution of the screen is 1080×2160 pixels. The aspect ratio of the screen is 18:9. Honor 9 Lite smartphone is a dual sim phone and it is powered by the octa-core Huawei HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor. The phone runs on Android Oreo OS with latest EMUI 8.0 OS.
In terms of RAM and Storage, Honor 9 Lite has 3GB/4GB RAM options with 32GB/64GB storage options. The internal storage of the phone is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The new Honor phone has a 3000mAh battery. According to the company, this battery can provide up to 20 hours of talk time on 3G and 24 days standby time. Connectivity options on the phone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 4G VoLTE, GPS, and Micro-USB with OTG support.
Short review of Honor 9 Lite
Honor 9 Lite is a good budget segment smartphone that fits the pocket easily. This is similar to the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi Y1 but the dual camera in front and back makes this phone better. At 10,999 you will get a 5.65 inches phone with 18:9 display with 3GB RAM & 32GB storage with dual front and back camera. The phone has volume and power button on the right side and the sim tray is on the left side. The phone doesn’t have a dedicated microSD card slot and if you want to expand the storage you will have to remove one sim card from the tray.
