Huawei sub-brand Honor has launched a new smartphone with a selfie camera hole called as the Honor V20. The smartphone is launched on 26th December in China only. The smartphone will compete with the recently launched Samsung Galaxy A8s smartphone which also features a selfie camera hole on the front. Honor V20 is also similar to the recently launched Huawei Nova 4. There is only one difference and that is the dual rear camera at the back of the Huawei Nova 4.
The smartphone biggest highlights include the 25-megapixel selfie camera, selfie camera hole on the display, 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 rear camera sensor, and the Hisilicon Kirin 980 SoC. The company will launch the Honor V20 globally as the Honor View 20. The global launch of the phone is confirmed for the 22nd January 22nd.
Honor V20 Price, Variants and Specifications
Honor V20 is launched in three variants in China. The first one comes with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and the price for this variant is CNY 2999 which is equal to Rs 30400. The second one comes with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and the price of this variant of the smartphone is CNY 3499 which is equal to Rs 35500. The company also launched a Moschino Edition of the smartphone and this variant comes with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage at the price of CNY 3999 which is equal to Rs 40600.
Coming to the specifications of Honor V20 smartphone, the smartphone is a dual sim smartphone that runs on Android Oreo Operating system with Magic UI 2.0.1. There is a 6.4-inches display on the phone with a screen resolution of 1080×2310 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. There is a HiSilicon Kirin 980 SoC on the phone which is paired with the 6GB/8GB RAM.
The internal storage of the phone is 128GB/256GB and there is no slot for the microSD card for the expansion of internal storage. Moving to the camera specs of the phone, the Honor V20 smartphone has a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor on the rear camera. The secondary sensor on the rear camera is a 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensor which will be used to capture the depth of the image. The front camera of the phone has a 25-megapixel sensor. The battery of the phone is 4000mAh.
