Chandigarh Administration seems to be going all out to attract people for International Yoga Day that is to be held as a mega event on 21st June, 2016 at Capitol Complex. A 4 day yoga festival is being held in Chandigarh where a series of events have been planned by the Chandigarh Administration to woo people towards Yoga and seek their participation at large.
One such activity to attract people has been this hot air balloon. It was showcased on the launching day of Chandigarh Yoga Festival at Parade Ground in Sector 17. While people stood on road dividing sector 22 and 17 to see the hot air balloon, Sri Sri addressed the crowd a Parade ground.
The event was basically a curtain raiser for Chandigarh Yoga Festival and first of is kind moon light yoga was organized.
The hot air balloon actually went up in the air but was tied with ropes so that it does not fly away. It surely created the hype and grabbed the attention of hundreds of people who were passing through Sector 16 – 17 – 22 and 23 roundabout.
All strategies of Chandigarh Administration seem to be working in super fine direction as 40,000 people have already registered for the mega event. Training camps are being held daily morning at over 200 location in the city.
