India’s largest car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki, is offering big discounts on some of its most selling hatchbacks. As per the report, Maruti Suzuki is offering discount on the most selling family hatchback Maruti Alto and the big boy in the Maruti Suzuki lineup – the Wagon R.
As per the report, most of the authorized auto dealers are offering various discounts to woo the customers. Another reason of offering discounts on these Maruti Suzuki models is to clear stock of cars that aren’t getting the required sales.
Huge discount on Maruti Suzuki hatchbacks – Wagon R and Alto
To clear up stocks, Maruti Suzuki is offering discount on its top selling hatchback – Alto and also on the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R. The car manufacturer is not offering any discounts on its other high-selling models. In fact, Maruti’s hot hatchback Baleno, compact sedan – next-generation Dzire and its compact SUV – Vitara Brezza are receiving high orders despite long waiting periods.
India’s largest carmaker in the passenger vehicle market – Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts on its popular hatchbacks this December. Most of the authorized Maruti Suzuki dealers are offering cash discounts on Wagon R and Alto up to Rs 35, 000. While some dealers are offering around Rs 25,000-30,000 discount on the Alto, the discount being offered on Wagon R is approximately Rs 35,000. The discount on these models may vary from state to state, which may further vary from variant to variant.
Discount on Maruti Suzuki MUV – Ertiga
According to report, some authorised Maruti Suzuki dealerships in Mumbai and national capital Delhi are offering discount on Maruti Suzuki’s Multi Utility Vehicle (MUV) Ertiga. The dealers are offering about Rs 10, 000 cash discount on the petrol variant Ertiga while there is a higher cash discount of up to Rs 40,000 on Ertiga’s hybrid variant. Drop in Hybrid Ertiga’s sale is one of the major reasons why company of offering the huge discount on Ertiga.
Other car manufacturers are also offering discounts on various models. The second largest car maker Hyundai is offering discount up to Rs 90, 000 on its various models, which depend on the variant as well as on the state.
