Hyundai Creta 2018 is one of the most awaited cars by the Korean manufacturer in India especially considering the increasing love of the Indians towards the SUV segment. The Jeep Compass like we earlier reported has spoiled the party for Hyundai Creta, XUV 500 and the Tucson and with the facelift Hyundai will try to take the reins back.
The new facelift will get new features that will make sure that the buyer of the Hyundai Creta won’t look elsewhere. One of these features that Hyundai will incorporate in the Creta is a sunroof that is seen in cars like Honda HR-V.
Hyundai Creta 2018: What To Expect?
The new Hyundai Creta has been spied time and again testing on Indian roads which leads us to believe that we are closer to the launch than we think. It will majorly be a cosmetic facelift while mechanical changes will be minimal.
The India bound Hyundai Creta 2018 Facelift will borrow design cues from the American model which comprises of a new hexagonal grille along with new rear and front bumpers. Another major change that we might get to see is the new headlamps which will get LED inserts. Hyundai Creta might offer 17-inch diamond cut alloys on top spec variants.
Mechanically the car will be the same as the outgoing model. The new Hyundai Creta will get the same engines – 1.6-litre VVT petrol which makes 122Bhp and 154Nm of torque. The diesel will be carried over as well which will be a 1.4-litre unit making 87Bhp. There will also be another 1.6-litre diesel which delivers better power figures than the rest of the Hyundai Creta models at 126Bhp.
