Segment Leader Hyundai Creta to soon get Facelift

The second largest car manufacturer in India – Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) is gearing up to launch the SUV Creta facelift variant in India soon. The face-lifted version of Hyundai’s popular SUV Creta is going to add more muscle to the vehicle. The test mules of the face-lifted 2018 Creta had been spotted in India and the spied images do reveal some facts about the new facelifted version of the Creta.

Creta Facelift 2018 Bookings likely to open in April 

As per some of the reports, the 2018 facelift version of the Hyundai Creta is slated to be launched in India in May. It is also being rumoured that if the carmaker is planning to launch the SUV in May, it will open bookings for the new 2018 Creta facelift from next month.

Under the hood changes in the new Version

As per the reports, the 2018 Hyundai Creta facelift will get the same engine options wwhich currently powers the existing versions. The Creta is offered with two petrol variants – 1.4 and 1.6-litre petrol engine and a single diesel option – 1.6-litre diesel engine.

There are chances that the engines may get tuned to offer more power and an automatic option as well but it has not been officially announced by the car maker.

Styling and cosmetic updates 

The new 2018 version of Hyundai Creta will get changes on both sides – the exterior, as well as, on the interior. These changes will add both styling and features to the facelift version of the SUV. The new Creta is likely to get updated set of headlamps with LED DRLs. New bumpers are expected to add more muscle to the car and redesigned fog lamps will add to the front appeal. On the rear, revamped taillights and redesigned bumper will make it more appealing form the rear end.

Updated Features

The 2018 Hyundai Creta will feature a brand new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The new system will be compatible with Apple CarPlay as well as Android Auto. The centre console is reported to be updated for better practicality and appearance. In addition to the bumper, headlamps and taillights, the 2018 Hyundai Creta will flaunt new 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels. Shady inserts will add to the sporty appeal of the SUV.

New Features in Hyundai Creta 2018 Facelift

Tough the Creta facelift is expected to get features such as cruise control, rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps, but one of the most appealing features of the 2018 Hyundai Creta will be the sunroof. This feature will surely make the competition tougher for Creta competitors such as the Renault Duster and Vitara Brezza.
