Hyundai Creta Facelift Spied Testing in India | Leaked Pictures and Other Specifications

According to the report, second largest car manufacturer in India, Hyundai motors has started testing of its popular SUV Creta in India. The spied images have gone viral on the digital platform and the mid-cycle facelift of Hyundai Creta is likely to be launched soon in the country. The Hyundai Creta has been one of Hyundai’s strong seller in the segment and has been company’s one of the best seller since its launch in 2015.

It has been reported that Hyundai currently sells two different versions of the refreshed Hyundai Creta globally. The report mentions that the company is expected to launch to a China-spec similar model for the Indian market.

Visible changes in the Hyundai Creta facelift spied on roads

The spy pics of the refreshed Hyundai Creta reveal that the compact SUV from Hyundai gets a larger hexagonal grille that comes merged with a thick chrome surround. On the lower end, the hexagonal grille mixes with the chunky front bumper that has been redesigned for the more muscular appeal of the new Creta. The redesigned bumper sports creases and gets separate housings for fog lamps.

The compact SUV Creta also gets new thick black chin that further increases the SUV’s muscular manifestation. It is likely that the updated model of the Creta might get a brand new set of alloy wheel design.

The rear bumper of the new Hyundai Creta has also been redesigned and it now gets a slight tweak on the sides. Though the China-spec Hyundai Creta gets Mercedes Benz-like rectangular exhaust tips, but it has now been revealed yet whether the carmaker will introduce the same in the Indian-spec model or not.

Under the hood of the Hyundai Creta facelift, Launch date

Though the spied images reveal only the outer appearance of the new Creta facelift yet it is being speculated that the new Creta SUV might come with 1.6-litre engine in both the petrol as well as the diesel variants. It is also being expected that the new Creta may lose out on the 1.4-litre engine which currently powers the compact SUV from Hyundai.

The company has not announced any official date for the launch of the new Hyundai Creta facelift, but according to the report, the company may showcase the facelift variant of the Creta at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo in Delhi.
