Hyundai has introduced a new colour option in its SUV Creta. The company has updated the Hyundai Creta with minor updates and has introduced a brand new colour to its existing Hyundai Creta lineup. The new colour option and new interior trim in the Creta has been introduced by the company as a minor update.
As per the report, the South Korean car maker has updated the Hyundai Creta few days before the official launch of its much-awaited four wheeler Renault Captur.
Hyundai Creta gets new colour option and new interior trim
One of Hyundai’s most successful models in India, the Creta, will now also be available in Earth Brown colour scheme that has been introduced by Hyundai as a new update to the existing lineup. The new colour will be offered both in single as well as dual-tone variants. The newly introduced paint job is expected to add up to the consumer’s choice of colours.
The dual-tone colour option – the Red Passion with Phantom Black, that was being offered by Hyundai earlier on the Creta has been discontinued by the company. In addition to the newly introduced Earth Brown colour, Hyundai Creta will be available in six other colour options – Sleek Silver, Polar White, Stardust, Red Passion, Phantom Black and Mystic Blue.
New interior trim also introduced by Hyundai
Apart from introducing an all-new colour scheme in the Hyundai Creta – Earth Brown colour, the company has also introduced a new interior trim in the Creta. As per the report, the new interior trim will be offered on the Hyundai Creta SX+ dual-tone variants only. The Hyundai Creta that will be offered with the updated interior trim will feature the Luxure Brown pack. The pack will comprise beige seat fabrics with brown inserts merge with contrast stitching.
The updated interior trim of the Hyundai Creta will also get leather-wrapped steering wheel which have been mixed with contrast stitching. The updated Creta will also get brown accents on the gear knob. Apart from these updates the SUV does not get any other mechanical changes.
Under the hood of Hyundai Creta
Currently, the Hyundai Creta is being offered in both diesel and petrol variants and the new updated Earth Brown colour Creta will continue to draw power from the same engines. As per the report, the diesel version of the Creta gets two engine options – a 1.6-litre and a 1.4-litre engine, while the petrol variant of the Creta only gets a 1.6-litre engine. Both the diesel as well as the petrol variants of the Creta gets two transmission options which include a 6-speed manual and an automatic gearbox.
It is being speculated that the South Korean automaker – Hyunai, is likely to introduce the Creta facelift in India. Reports are that the facelift variant of the Hyundai Creta will be introduced next year. The Creta Facelift will rival the likes of the upcoming Renault Captur and the Tata Nexon.
