Hyundai to Unveil New Elite i20 Facelift at Delhi Auto Expo | Check Specs, Features & Price

Hyundai Motors is all set to unveil the facelifted variant of the 2018 Hyundai Elite i20. According to the report, the Hyundai Elite i20 facelift will rival the likes of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Ford Figo, Honda Jazz, and the Tata’s upcoming X451 hatchback.

It has also been reported that next year Hyundai Motor India is expected to launch two new vehicles in India. Speculations are, that the Hyundai cars that are going to be unveiled in India next year are most likely going to be a hatchback and an all-new small car.

Hyundai to unveil new Elite i20 Facelift at 2018 Delhi Auto Expo

It has been reported that in the small car segment, Hyundai Motors is likely to launch a new Santro or a replacement of the car; while on the other hand, the Hyundai hatchback is likely to be the new 2018 Hyundai Elite i20 Facelift.

According to the report, the automaker has already started testing the new Elite i20 in the Indian market, and it will most likely unveil the new Elite i20 in Delhi next year at the 2018 Auto Expo.

2018 Elite i20 facelift spied, this is what the pictures reveal

The Elite i20 facelift variant has been recently spied testing on the Indian roads. The pictures of the striking hatchback have taken the digital world by storm. Though the latest spied images of the i20 facelift do not reveal the real appearance of the car yet the visible features of the car are intriguing. It is expected that after the unveiling of the new Hyundai Elite i20 2018 the hatchback is likely to be launched in India.

Here are the features of the facelifted Elite i20

The spied pictures of the new 2018 Hyundai Elite i20 facelift reveal that the i20 gets subtle design changes both on the exteriors as well as on the interior. On the front faced, Elite i20 facelift is expected to get the recognizable ‘Cascade’ grille. The grille is currently comes fitted in the new gen-next Hyundai Verna. To the front, the changes also include new headlamps with LED DRLs (Daytime running lights). The facelift hatchback gets an all-new redesigned bumper. While most of the profile remains same, the side profile of the Elite i20 facelift will be highlighted by the new machined alloy-wheels.

Mechanically, the Hyundai i20 facelift will continue to get the same engine under the hood. The rear profile tough gets a redesigned tailgate with new LED taillights. The rear bumper too has been redesigned to give the rear a fresh appeal.  There has been no report verifying the specifications of the interior.
