Intelligence Bureau (IB) has started the process of filling the application for the various posts online from 20th October 2018. The candidates can fill their application form online till 10th November 2018. The last date to make th payment for the examination fee online and offline via Challan is 10th November.
The application fee for the IB Recruitment 2018 is Rs 50 only. The candidates belonging to the General and OBC Category will have to pay Rs 50 application fee while the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PH category there is no application fee. The payment of fee can be done via Challan or online mode.
The maximum age limit to apply for the various posts in Intelligence Bureau is 27 years for the General category candidates. For the SC/ST category, the maximum age limit to apply online for the posts is 32 years while for the OBC category candidates, the maximum age limit to apply online is 30 years.
According to the official notification of IB Recruitment 2018, there are more than 1000 vacancies. The total vacancies under the IB Recruitment 2018 are 1054. The vacancies are for the post of Security Assistant/Executive in Group C. The details of vacancies region wise are mentioned in the official notification.
These vacancies in IB are divided into category wise. For the General Category candidates, there are total 620 vacancies. For the OBC category candidates, there are 187 vacancies in Intelligence Bureau. For the SC category candidates, there are 160 vacancies and for the ST category, there are total 87 vacancies. The candidates selected for these posts will get a pay scale of Rs 5200-20200. The candidates who have passed the matriculation or above are eligible to apply for these posts. The candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam and Descriptive test.
