IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam Pattern Changed | Check New Pattern & All Details Here

IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection released the official notification for the IBPS Clerk Exam on 14th September 2018. The process of filling the application form started on 18th September 2018. The candidates who are looking for a career in the banking sector can apply online for the post of Clerk under the IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018.

The Last Date to fill the application form for the IBPS Clerk exam is 10th October 2018. The Preliminary examination will be conducted in the month of December and the Mains Exam for the IBPS Clerk exam will be conducted in the month of January 2019.

IBPS Clerk Exam 2018 Exam Pattern

This year Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has made some changes to the examination scheme and pattern. The time duration for the exam is the same as the previous exams but this time a fixed time duration is set for each subject. Candidates will have to attempt that subject in the IBPS Clerk Exam 2018 in that time interval. Here are the details of the New Scheme and pattern for the examination.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Exam Prelims: In the Preliminary Examination, there will be 3 tests. These tests will have questions from English, Numerical Ability an Reasoning Ability. The Numerical and Reasoning Ability will have 35 questions each and the English section will have 30 questions. For each section, candidates will get 20 minutes to attempt.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Clerk Exam 2018 Mains: In the Main Exam, there will be 4 tests – General Awareness, English. Reasoning & Computer and Quantitative Aptitude. The candidates will get 35 minutes for the General and Financial Awareness, 35 minutes for English, 45 minutes for the Reasoning and Computer and 45 minutes for the Quantitative.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Recruitment – Other Details

The application fee for the General and OBC Category candidates under Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is Rs 600 for the IBPS Clerk Exam 2018. The candidates of SC/ST/PH and Ex-Serviceman category will have to pay Rs 100 as application fee. The payment of fee can be done via Credit card, debit card, net banking or E Challan.

As per the IBPSC Clerk Exam 2018 official notification, there are total 7275 vacancies for Clerk post. For the General Category, there are 3852 vacancies, 1673 vacancies for OBC Category, 1183 vacancies for SC category and 577 vacancies for the ST category.
