IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018 – Examination Scheme & Marks

The candidates will be selected for the post of Clerk on the basis of their performance in the Preliminary Examination and the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will conduct the Main Examination. Both the examinations will be conducted online. First, IBPS will conduct the Prelims Exam for Clerk post and candidates who will qualify the exam will be called for the IBPS Main Exam for Clerk Post.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018 Preliminary Exam Details: In the Preliminary Examination for the IBPS Clerk Recruitment VIII, there will be 3 tests – English Language, Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability. The English language test of IBPS Clerk exam will have 30 questions and to attempt these 30 questions, 20 minutes will be provided to candidates. The maximum marks for the Test are 30 marks (1 mark per question)

The Numerical Ability Test will have total 35 questions. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will give 20 minutes to attempt this section and maximum marks are 35. The reasoning Ability section of the test will also have 35 questions of 35 marks and time allotted to attempt the test is 20 minutes. Overall total questions in the IBPS Clerk 2018 Prelims Exam will be 100 and the maximum marks will be 100 marks.

IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018 Main Exam Details: In the Main Examination of Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the post of Clerk, there will be 4 tests – General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and General Awareness. The General English Test of IBPS Clerk recruitment 2018 Main examination will have 40 questions of 40 marks and time of 35 minutes to attempt the test. The Quantitative Aptitude Test will have 50 questions of 50 marks and time of 45 minutes to attempt the test.

The reasoning & Computer Aptitude Test of IBPS Clerk Main Exam 2018 will have 50 questions of 60 marks and time of 45 minutes to attempt the test. In the General/Financial Awareness Test, there will be 50 questions of 50 marks and 35 minutes time to attempt the test. Overall, there will be total 190 questions of 200 marks and time of 160 minutes.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) released the official notification for the post of Clerk Recruitment on 14th September. As per the IBPS notification for Clerk Recruitment, the starting date of application form is 18th September and the last date to fill the application form is 10th October 2018.
