IBPS PO 2018: Check Out the New Pattern of Prelims and Mains Exam

IBPS PO Recruitment 2018: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has been recruiting probationary officer for numerous banks for the year 2018. Some new pattern has been incorporated by IBPS for the prelims and mains exam 2018 for the post of PO. Whereas the eligible and interested candidates for the IBPS PO post can apply online till 4 September 2018.

After the IBPS RRB Recruitment, Institute has started with the PO recruitment for the year 2018 and the online application process has been opened from 14 August. Check out the new pattern and syllabus of IBPS PO Prelims and mains exam 2018 below.

IBPS PO Exam 2018: Here’s the new pattern of Exam

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in the list of Banks has added one more name i.e Punjab & Sind Bank. Along with the 6 Banks, IBPS will also recruit PO for Punjab & Sind Bank from 2018 onwards. With the increase in the number of Banks, IBPS has also increased the vacancies from 4102 to 4252. As with the entry of Punjab & Sind Bank, IBPS has added 150 vacancies more to PO Recruitment 2018.

As far as the new changes are concerned, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection has introduced sectional timing in between the exam from 2018 onwards. Instead of a composite time of 60 minutes, the IBPS Exam question paper has been divided into 20 minutes of sectional timing. Prelims exam question paper of IBPS PO 2018 will be divided into 3 sections each has to complete in 20-20 minutes. Whereas the total marks and number of questions will be 100-100 respectively for the IBPS PO Prelims Exam 2018.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will close the online application process for the PO post on 4 September 2018. Then the applicants have to wait for the IBPS Prelims admit card, that will be released in the first week of October 2018. Although the IBPS Prelims exam for PO post has been scheduled on 13, 14, 20 and 21 October 2018. Whereas the result for the same will be declared in October/ November 2018.
