IBPS PO Recruitment 2018: Prelims and Mains Exam Syllabus | Know the Details Here

IBPS PO Recruitment 2018: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection released the syllabus and structure for the online exam of PO post for the year 2018. On the official notification announced by the IBPS for recruitment of Probationary officer, the institute has mentioned the details regarding the exam as well. Although the online application process has been ongoing and will end on 4 September 2018 for the IBPS PO recruitment.

After IBPS RRB Recruitment, the institute now has been focusing on for the PO Recruitment 2018. Online application has begun on 14 August and interested candidates can apply for the same till 4 September 2018. Know the prelims and main exam syllabus for IBPS PO Recruitment 2018 below.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection after the last date of online application will conduct Prelims exam for PO Recruitment 2018. The online prelims exam for IBPS PO post will be conducted on 13, 14, 20 and 21 October 2018. Whereas the result for the IBPS PO Prelims exam will be declared somewhere in October or November month for the year 2018.

IBPS PO Prelims paper will be divided into 3 sections and the total marks will be 100. The first section will of English Language that will comprise of 30 questions of 30 marks. Whereas the second and third will be of Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability respectively and will comprise of 35 question each. Although the candidate will get only 20 minutes time to complete each section during the IBPS PO Prelims exam 2018.

Here’s the Syllabus for IBPS PO Mains Exam 2018

Those who will clear the IBPS PO Prelims exam for the year 2018 will then have to appear for the main exam. The mains exam for the IBPS PO Recruitment 2018 will be held on 18 November. Further, the result for the same will be out in December month by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection for the Probationary Officer post-2018.

IBPS PO Mains Exam will be of total 200 marks and will be divided into 4 sections- Reasoning and Computer Aptitude (45 questions of 60 marks), General Awareness (40 questions of 40 marks), English Language (35 questions of 40 marks) and Data Analysis & Interpretation (35 questions of 60 marks). Candidates will get 3 hours to complete the paper. A separate English language (Letter writing) paper consisting of 2 questions of 25 marks will have to be completed by 30 minutes.
