IBPS SO Recruitment 2018 | Examination Pattern For Preliminary and Main Exam 2018

IBPS SO Recruitment 2018: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the notification for the recruitment of SO posts. There are total 1599 vacancies for the post of SO. The process will begin from 6th November 2018 and the last date is 26th November 2018. The exam date for the Prelims is 29th and 30th December while the Main Exam date for the IBPS SO Exam is 27th January.

IBPS SO Recruitment 2018 – Exam pattern for Prelims

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will conduct the Preliminary Exam for the SO posts on 29th and 30th December 2018. The preliminary Exam for Law Officer and Rajbhasha Adhikari will have questions from English Language, Reasoning and General Awareness. There will be total 150 questions in the test with maximum marks of 125.

The English section will have 50 questions of 25 marks, reasoning Section will have 50 questions of 50 marks and the General Awareness section will have total 50 questions of 50 marks. Except for the English test, other tests will be in English and Hindi medium. Candidates appearing in the exam will have to attempt the paper in 120 minutes. Each test will be of 40 marks.

For the IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, and Marketing Officer, the examination pattern is the same but in place of General Awareness, there will be a test of Quantitative Aptitude. There will be total 150 questions of 125 marks and time is 120 minutes.

IBPS SO Recruitment 2018 – Exam pattern for Main Exam

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will conduct the Main Exam for the SO posts on 27th January 2019. For the Post of Law Officer, IT Officer, Agriculture Field Officer, HR/Personnel Officer, and Marketing Officer, there will be total 60 questions in the Main Exam for IBPS SO Recruitment. The questions will be on the basis of Professional Knowledge. Total questions in the test will 60 and the maximum marks will be 60. The medium of the exam will be English and Hindi.

For the Post of Rajbhasha Adhikari, there will be two test and is based on the Professional Knowledge. The first one will be objective and the second one will be descriptive. The objective test will have 45 questions and the descriptive will have 2 questions. the maximum marks of the test are 60. The candidates will get 30 minutes for the objective test and 30 minutes for the descriptive test.
