In accordance with the decision of the All India Examination Committee -ICAI will also publish merit list of candidates scoring a minimum of 55% and above marks. The merit list will be updated to a maximum of 50th Rank in the case of 2017 Final Examination.
CPT 2017 & CA Final result
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is most likely to declare the CA Final 2017 and CPT 2017 results today. Chartered Accountancy Final Examination 2017 was held in the month of May 2017 and Common Proficiency Test (CPT) was held in June 2017. Both Candidates of CA final examination and CPT 2017 can expect the result to be out today. Aspirants can get their result through SMS or check their result on official portal icaiexam.icai.org at 2:00 pm today. The results will be announced Zone wise.
Steps to check CA Final & CPT result Online
Log on to official website icaiexam.icai.org. Click on results and select the link flashing ‘CPT June 2017 examination’ or ‘CA Final May 2017’. Then, enter your Registration Number or Roll number and Pin. You might have to enter captcha before clicking on Submit. Download & Save Result and also Print it for future reference.
CA Students can also get their result in their inbox by simply registering their E-mail. For this, Log on to official website of ICAI icaiexam.icai.org. Login to your registered profile and Click on Email Registration link. Verify your email address and once done – students will receive their result in Inbox as it is declared.

CA FINAL May 2017
Merit list of CA Final candidates scoring a minimum of 55% and a maximum of 50th rank will also be available on the official website of ICAI. CA Final May 2017 candidates can apply for inspection and certified copies of answer books from 19th July until 16 August. Apply for verification of answer books: From 19 July till 17 August.

The Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is entrance exam of CA professional course and is conducted in the month of June & December. Secondly, the Intermediate level examination- ‘ Integrated Professional Competence – IPC’ Examination is held in the month of May & November and the Final Examination of the course is conducted in May & November, every year. As per estimates, more than 90,000 candidates appeared for CPT 2017 examination in the month of June across 372 test centres. Approximately 1,32000 candidates appeared for CA final Examination held in May 2017.
