Flashback ICC Champions Trophy 2013

India won the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 under Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s captaincy defeating England by 5 runs at Edgbaston, Birmingham. The final between India and England was reduced to 20 overs due to rain. Ravindra Jadeja became the star performer of the match by taking 2 crucial wickets and adding 33 crucial runs to the team’s total. Shikhar Dhawan was adjudged as the Player Of Series.

This year Virat Kohli has taken over the captaincy charge from MS Dhoni. Let’s hope our Indian team bleeds blue so that Kohli gets a chance to lift to the ICC Champions Trophy 2017 and the fans get a chance to celebrate.
