The ICC Champions Trophy is on a city tour and reached Chandigarh today. The ICC Champions Trophy was displayed at Joshi Nissan at Industrial Area, Phase 1 in Chandigarh. The ICC Champions Trophy tour in India had begun on March 1, 2017, from Kolkata. After Kolkata, the trophy was displayed in Mumbai, Cochin, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Delhi NCR and then Chandigarh.

The ICC Champions Trophy 2017 Nissan Trophy Tour was started from Dubai on February 21, 2017. After completing the city tour in India the trophy will be displayed in other competing nations like England, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Bangladesh, South Africa and Sri Lanka.
ICC Champions Trophy will begin on June 1 just after the 10th IPL edition. Bangladesh will be playing England in the opening game on June 1 at The Oval, England.

The final between India and England was reduced to 20 overs due to rain. Ravindra Jadeja became the star performer of the match by taking 2 crucial wickets and adding 33 crucial runs to the team’s total. Shikhar Dhawan was adjudged as the Player Of Series.
