The 398 plan of Idea is not a new plan but is an old one. The company has revised the plan for some selected users. In the 398 plan users will now get 1.4GB data per day. Earlier the plan offers 1GB data per day. Now users will get 400MB extra data per day. With the increase in daily data usage limit, the validity of the plan 398 is also revised for some users. Now the plan offers 84 days validity. Earlier the validity of the plan was 70 days.
Idea Plan 398 offers free calls. All the calls including STD calls, local calls, and Roaming calls are free in the plan. This point is to be noted here that calls are free not unlimited as it comes with daily and weekly calling limits. In the Idea recharge 398, the telecom operator is offering 250 free minutes per day and 100 free minutes per week. The plan also offers 100 free SMS per day.
Jio Plan 399 & Airtel Plan 399
Airtel has also revised it’s 399 prepaid plan for some users and the company is now offering 1.4GB data to its users in the plan 399. Airtel 399 plan comes with a validity of 84 days. But this is only for selected users, and rest of the users will get 1GB Data per day and validity of 70 days. The plan offers all unlimited calls including all local, all std calls and all roaming calls.
Jio on the other side the plan 399 offers all unlimited calls. Unlimited calls include local calls, std calls, and roaming calls. There is no limit on free calls in the plan. The plan offers 1.5GB data per day. The validity of the plan is 84 days.
