The government-owned corporation, State Bank of India (SBI), has changed the IFSC code, names and codes of more than 1200 SBI branches in India including the banks in Chandigarh. It has been reported that in a major move the State Bank of India (SBI) has changed the SBI IFSC code names of more than 1200 SBI branches in the country, which certainly makes it important for the consumers to fill in right IFCS code before making any financial transactions now on.
IFCS Codes of SBI branches in Chandigarh changed
It has been reported that the State Bank of India (SBI), India’s largest bank, has changed the IFSC codes, names and codes of more than 1200 SBI branches in the country. The bank has also changed the bank codes as well as the IFSC code of the banks that were recently merged with SBI.
State Bank of India has updated the list of the all the SBI branches whose names, codes and IFSC codes have been changed on the official website. It has been further reported that the codes of some of the branches that are located in city beautiful – Chandigarh, national capital Delhi, and other states including Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata et al have been changed.
