IGNOU is one of the prestigious and largest universities of India that offers distant learning courses to the professionals. For the upcoming session of MBA course starting from January 2018, IGNOU has announced OPENMAT entrance admission. It is a two years MBA program for which IGNOU has released OPENMAT MBA entrance admission.
The OPENMAT admission test for MBA program will be conducted by IGNOU and the paper will consist of questions based on reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language.
Eligibility for IGNOU OPENMAT entrance exam for MBA
The eligibility criteria to enroll for IGNOU OPENMAT entrance exam for MBA includes-
The interested candidates for Management Program should be any graduate (including CA, CS & ICWA candidates) with a minimum of 50 per cent marks for general category and 45 per cent marks for the reserved category. Those who fulfil these criteria of eligibility can appear in the IGNOU OPENMAT MBA Entrance Exam. There isn’t any age bar for the interested candidates.
IGNOU OPENMAT exam pattern for MBA program
IGNOU follows the same pattern of exam for its OPENMAT admission in MBA course, every year. The OPENMAT paper constitutes a total of 200 questions of multiple choices with examination time of 3 hours. The IGNOU’s OPENMAT paper is segregated into four sections including General Awareness with 30 questions, English Language with 50 questions, Quantitative Aptitude with 50 questions and Reasoning with 70 questions
IGNOU OPENMAT important dates
For the IGNOU OPENMAT MBA entrance test, the last date to apply is August 11. The entrance test for MBA OPENMAT is scheduled on September 24. The prospectus for the IGNOU MBA’s OPENMAT is available online and can be downloaded from the official website www.ignou.ac.in. Rs 1000 is the cost of the prospectus and can be sent along with a DD/ IPO payable to IGNOU, New Delhi for Rs 1050.
