IGNOU Changes Admission Process for 2018 Session | Syllabus Change Also on Cards

After a long time, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has decided to make changes in their admission process & syllabus for the session 2018-2019. IGNOU has planned to carry out beneficiary changes for the students in terms of admission process & syllabus in the upcoming session of the University. And it has been expected that the IGNOU’s admission process from 2018 is all set to be easier after the implementation of the new process.

IGNOU has invited the application for many of its running courses, even it has added new courses from 2018-19 session. But this time IGNOU Has aimed to join more & more of backward area student, who have been deployed from higher studies.

IGNOU admission 2018: And Here’s how you can apply now

India’s biggest Open University, IGNOU has now been aiming to make it easier for the students who have been coming from the backward area of India. IGNOU for the session 2018 onwards, along with Ministry of Information & Technology is all set to 2.5 Lakh Common Service Centre in the remote areas of India. And with the new centres, IGNOU will help students to fill up their forms for higher education in just Rs.5 or 10 from 2018 onwards.

Earlier students from remote areas have to face numerous problems for the admission in IGNOU because of low internet service. But IGNOU from the session 2018 onwards has made it easy for those students of remote areas to get their admission, degrees & much more online.

Even there have been rumors that IGNOU administration is also planning to change the syllabus from session 2018-19 for most of the courses. From last many years, IGNOU has remained following the same syllabus throughout. Along with changing the curriculum, the administration has also targeted to encourage students for the use of digital platforms. Although the preparation for the change in the curriculum 2018 of IGNOU has started but no official announcement regarding its implementation date has been made by the University as of now.
