IGNOU Introduces Another New Course | This Time it’s Acupuncture – Check Major Details Here

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has offered a lot of new courses both regular and vocational as per the student preference. A new addition to the list is the graduate certificate programme in Acupuncture (PGCACP).  The School of Health Sciences has launched this new program because of the gaining popularity of this amongst the students seeking admissions.

Indira Gandhi National Open University is going to offer the new acupuncture course just like other of its courses that is through the mode of an open distance learning mode. With this, the interested students will have to send printouts of both the soft as well as the hard copies via a post.

IGNOU Offers New Course in Acupuncture 

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is all set to offer a new course to the medical graduate students. IGNOU is offering a new acupuncture course which will be a part of the offline open distance learning program for the students who wish to enroll themselves in this course.

As per the important details of the IGNOU Acupuncture Course, the program fee for the offered course sums up to an amount of Rs. 30,000. The duration is of 12 months and has a maximum limit of as many as 36 months.

IGNOU’S Acupuncture Course | Eligibility, Centers & Other Details  

As per the official notification that had been released in context to the new acupuncture course which is being offered by IGNOU, all the graduates in the field of medicine, belonging to backgrounds like yoga, allopathy, Ayurveda along with others like Physiotherapy, Unani, Dentistry, Siddha, Naturopathy as well as Homeopathy clear the eligibility criteria to apply for the course offered by the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). This has been stated by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare belonging to the Government of the country.

The IGNOU new acupuncture course is known to be offered in as many as 9 study centers which are located in different parts of the country. The 9 centers are Hubli in Karnataka, Nasik in Maharashtra, Indore in Madhya Pradesh, Kota in Rajasthan, Rourkela in Orissa, Ludhiana in Punjab, Kolkata in West Bengal, Chennai in Tamil Nadu as well as the National Capital – Delhi.
