IGNOU 2019: Indira Gandhi National Open University has changed its fee policy for the year 2019. With the new admission process for the year 2019, IGNOU has amended new changes in the fee policy. The major change held by IGNOU is that it has canceled the fee concession provided for the reserved category student from 2019 onwards.

IGNOU Fee Concession: SC/ST Category Students have to Pay Fee from 2019
Indira Gandhi National Open University has recently notified that it will now collect the fee from reserved category students as well. As of now, IGNOU uses to provide free education to the candidates belonging to SC/ST category. But from 2019 onwards, even SC/ST candidates have to the fee at IGNOU. Although students need not have to pay fees for B.A, B.Sc or B.Com courses, whereas for all other courses one has to pay the fee.
According to IGNOU official, the decision has been taken to provide seats to the deserving candidates. As per now, due to free studies, many students use take admission but leave the course in between. IGNOU has taken the decision to make students aware regarding the importance of the seats and provide the same to the deserving candidates form 2019 onwards.

Whereas furthermore, Indira Gandhi National Open University has been ongoing with the January 2019 admission on the official website. Along with the ongoing January admission 2019, IGNOU has introduced many new courses for the candidates. Even soon the admission process for the new courses will be started for the year 2019. Although it has been expected that a few more courses will be launched by IGNOU for the new session.
