Virat Kohli made 82 runs from 61 balls. He specially thanked the crowd at Mohali PCA Stadium for the support provided to him. He praised the positive energy from Chandigarh.
Kohli also said that he would rank his Mohali innings as one of the top 3 innings that he has played. This has been possible due to the cheer from the crowd.
Virat bowed to the ground and thanked the almighty after the win.
The local lad Yuvraj Singh made 21 runs. He got a twisted ankle, so could not do much for his team.
The winning runs were however scored by Dhoni. As soon as he hit the winning stroke, the crowd went crazy. Everyone was hooting at the top of their voice to express the happiness.
India will take on West Indies in the Semi Final.
