Indian Air Force Recruitment 2018: Ministry of Defence has released an official notification for the Indian Air Force Recruitment 2018 for various posts. Ministry of Defence has invited application from candidates for the Group C posts. All interested candidates are advised to read the official notice for the IAF recruitment 2018.
Indian Air Force Recruitment 2018 – Important Details
All interested candidates who want to apply for the Group C vacancies in Indian Air Force can apply for the same now. The last date to apply is 16th April 2018. This is not an online application process. Keep this in mind that to apply for these vacancies candidates will have to send all the details in a prescribed format to C Adm O Air Force Station Lohagaon.
Ministry of Defence Vacancy Details – There are total 54 posts vacancies. For various Group C posts, these vacancies are to be filled. The posts are Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), Carpenter, Painter, House Keeping Staff, Cook, Mess Staff, Laundryman, LDC and Vulcaniser.
Eligibility Criteria – For the post of Multi Tasking Staff, House Keeping Staff, Mess Staff, Laundryman and Vulcaniser the minimum education qualification needed is 10th class passed from a recognized board or university. For the post of LDC (Lower Division Clerk), the minimum education qualification is 12th class. Also, candidates also need a typing speed of 30 words per minute on a manual typewriter in English or on the computer.
For the post of Cook, Matriculation pass from a recognized board or university with diploma in catering and one year experience. For the post of Painter and Carpenter, candidates who have passed 10th class from a recognized board and also have Industrial Training Institute Certificate in the trade of Carpenter/Painter can apply.
Age Limit, Pay Scale, Selection Process and How To Apply
The age limit to apply is 18 to 25 years and for Civilian Motor Driver the age limit is 18 to 27 years. Selected candidates who qualified the exam will get a pay scale of Rs.18,000 – 19,000. Candidates will be selected on the basis or written test. To apply candidates will have to send all the details, application form and documents to C Adm O Air Force Station Lohagaon before last date.
