The Indian Navy has released an official notification (employment news 2nd -8th March) regarding the post of Tradesman Mate Group C posts in various Headquarters. The candidates who are interested in the same can check the official notification for the eligibility criteria and then fill the application form online. Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 – Vacancies, & Age Limit
As per the official notification, there are total 554 vacancies in Indian Navy for the post of Tradesman. These vacancies are divided as Headquarter wise. For the Eastern Naval Command Visakhapatnam Headquarter, there are 46 vacancies (20 for General, 7 for SC, 3 for ST, 12 for OBC and 4 for EWS). In the Western Naval Command, Mumbai Headquarter, there are 502 vacancies (227 for General, 58 for SC, 24 for ST, 143 for OBC and 50 for EWC).
For the Southern Naval Command, Kochi Headquarter, there are total 6 vacancies (2 for General, 1 for SC, 1 for SR, 1 for OBC and 1 for EWS). The minimum age limit to apply for the posts in India Navy is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years. For the SC/ST category candidates, the upper age limit is 30 years, and 28 years for OBC.
Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 -Starting Date, Application Fee & Other Details
As of now, only the notification is released by the Indian Navy. The application form filling process for the post of Tradesman will begin on the official website on 2nd March 2019. The last date to fill the application form is 15th March 2019. The candidates are advised to fill their application form in between these two dates.
The application fee for the filling of the application form is Rs 205. Only the candidates of General category and OBC category will have to pay the application fee. Women candidates are exempted from paying the application fee and reserved category candidates are also exempted. This is the online application process and candidates will only have to pay the application fee online.
The selection of the will be based on the screening of application form. The candidates whose applications will be found correct will be called for the written exam. The written examination will be of 100 marks which will include 25 questions each from the General Intelligence, Numerical Aptitude, General English and General Awareness.
