According to the Indian Navy Notification 2017, the starting date to apply online for the vacant post in India Navy is 30 September. This means the online registration has started. the last date to apply online for the Indian Navy recruitment 2017 for the post of SSC officer is 20 October 2017. All candidates are advised to fill the online form on or before 20 October. There are two Branch Cadre i.e SSC(Staff Selection Commission) and PC(Permanent Commission Officer)
Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2017 – How To Apply Online & Vacancy Details
Vacancy details – There are total vacancies in Indian Navy and Vacancies are in Executive (Law and Logistics), Education in Short Service Commission (SSC), IT (Information Technology) and Permanent Commission (PC) for the course of July 2018. In Education and IT Branch/Cadre, male candidates can only apply and in Logistics and Law Branch both male and female can apply. Age Limit – For the Permanent Commission on Education Cadre the Candidates born between 02 July 1993 – 01 July 1997 can apply online. Only Male candidates can apply for this post. For the post of Logistics candidates born between 02 July 1993 – 01 Jan 1999 can apply. The type of commission is SSC and Male and female candidates can apply for the same. For the LAW SSC Comision, candidates born between 02 July 1991- 01 July 1996 can apply. Male and female both can apply for this and for IT Branch SSC Commission candidates born between 02 July 1993 – 01 Jan 1999 can apply. Only male candidates can apply.
Indian Navy SSC Officer Recruitment 2017 – Education Qualifications
For PC (Edn) the qualifications are as follows M.Sc. (Physics/Nuclear Physics) with Maths in B.Sc., M.Sc. (Maths/Operational Research) with Physics in B.Sc., M.A. (English), M.A. (History),BE / B.Tech (Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Instrumentation / Electronics & Telecommunications / Electrical Engineering). Minimum marks required are 60%. SSC (Logistics) the qualifications required are BE/B.Tech in any discipline/ B. Architecture with First Class or MBA with First Class or B.Sc / B.Com / B.Sc.(IT) with first class and a PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Material Management or MCA / M.Sc (IT). For SSC X (IT) the qualifications required are BE/B.Tech (Computer Science / Computer Engg/ IT) (ii) M.Sc (Computer / IT) (iii) B.Sc (IT) (iv) M.Tech (Computer Science) (v) BCA/MCA. For SSC (Law) the qualification needed is Degree in Law qualifying for enrolment as an Advocate under ‘Advocates Act 1961’
