Apple iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X – Features You Need to Know

Apple has globally launched its three new mobile phones, the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X. Both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are the successor of Apple’s iPhone 7 and iPhone7 Plus range of smartphones while the iPhone X is the premium release from the house of Apple, which has created a revolution and has left all the other Android smartphones behind in terms of features and specifications.

Apple’s iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 plus tend to be released after the success of its predecessor iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus but the unveiling of its iPhone X was a real surprise for the curators of iPhone users on the occasion of Apple’s the tenth anniversary of the original iPhone.

Specs of Apple’s newly launched iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus & iPhone X 

Apple’s newly launches iPhone 8 is the improvised version of iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 Plus also has a slightly better hold than the iPhone 7Plus. The design of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are somewhat similar to its existing variant iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Both the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus has a display of 5.5-inch screen backed up by an HD retina display along with the dual camera lens of 12 MP on the rear. 

It has the most powerful and the smartest chip of the processor A11 Bionic with glass on the back as well as on the front of the smartphone that is reinforced by a laser welded steel and copper layering to keep water and dust resistant. It will be water and dust resistant sealed. Apple’s premium smartphone, iPhone X along with iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus have some unique specification and features including wireless charging, better HD quality display, a faster processor and elongated battery backup. The iPhone X sports feature like auto face focus and ani-emojis.

Features and price of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X

Talking about the features of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, both the devices will be available in three colours including space grey, blush gold and silver. It is also said that the iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus will begin its sale from September 22.

However, the pre orders of both iPhone 8 and iPhone Plus will kick off from September 15 and iOS 11 can be downloaded from September 19. iPhone X also comes with a feature of wireless charging, which is first of its kind in the history of Apple’s any iPhones. Its users can now charge their devices by simply placing it on a power pad. All the three devices of iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X will be available with 64 GB and 256 GB and will be supported by iOS 11 operating system that will include various new features like better multitasking, better camera, device and privacy safety, a redesigned control centre and peer-to-peer Apple Pay.

In comparison to iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus, the iPhone X has a slightly better camera, which features faster and a larger sensor for enhanced pixels and various colour filters. Apart from these, Apple’s iPhone X boasts to offer the best and the brightest video quality that any smartphone can capture (4K video up to 60fps) along with better video stabilisation. 

The iPhone X doesn’t have any home button and the touch ID while the latter, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus houses both the feature of the home button and the touch ID but with no feature for facial recognition. The iPhone 8 will cost Rs 59226.32 for the 64GB edition approximately, iPhone 8 Plus starts its price from Rs 67699.33 for the 64GB variant approximately, iPhone X with 64 GB will be available for Rs 89000 approximately while the same handset in 256GB versions will be priced over Rs 1 lakh.
