After iPhone 8, India Gets iPhone X | Becomes One Of The First Countries Where iPhone X Has Been Launched

While the world wrestles in the rest of the world, India became one of the first countries to get the new iPhone X in their market. The new iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus that were announced at the same event in September are already available in the Indian subcontinent. If you are one of those people who had been anxiously waiting for the phone to launch then it is time to blow a hole in your pockets. Apple has announced that the new latest iPhone X will be launched in India on the 3rd of November and the pre-orders are set to start this Friday.

You can order the new iPhone X on popular e-commerce websites like Flipkart and Amazon as well as authorised retailers across India. The deliveries will commence on the launch day on the 3rd of November, 2017.

Features of the new iPhone X:

The new iPhone X is the first phone in the Apple portfolio to actually follow the bezel-less design approach that was first popularised by the Xiaomi Mi Mix. Ever since the launch of the Xiaomi counterpart in India, all major as well as small manufacturers have gone that way. The new iPhone X, however, has a cut in the upper side of the screen for the speaker as well as the front-facing camera which looks rather odd.

To minimise the bezels on the bottom chin the iPhone X decided to omit the touch ID sensor as well as the home button. The new iPhone X now, therefore, comes with facial recognition that will help in unlocking your phone. The screen size is 5.98 inches while the dimensions are smaller than that of the new iPhone 8 Plus. This is also the first iPhone to have wireless charging which was missed in Apple products since years.

Price and Launch of the iPhone X India:

The new iPhone X is the most expensive Apple smartphone ever and it comes at a price of 89,000 Indian rupees for the 64GB variant and 1,02,000 for the 256GB variant. India has always seen a higher price of Apple products than other countries. For instance, the new iPhone X price in the US is equivalent to 61,000 Indian Rupees.
