ISRO Recruitment 2018 | Over 100 Vacancies For Scientists/ Engineers Announced

Last date to apply for the ISRO recruitment 2018 for the 106 posts of Scientists / Engineers is February 20, 2018

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has announced vacancies for over 100 posts of Scientists / Engineers. The organization invites application from the Engineering graduates (including Mechanical, Electronics and Computer Science) for the ISRO recruitment 2018.  The application forms for the posts can be downloaded online from the official website of the organization where it can be filled and submitted too.

How to apply for Scientists/ Engineers posts at ISRO

All the interested candidates, who are engineering graduates, are eligible to apply for this job. For the application, candidates will have to first visit the official website of the ISRO i.e isro.gov.in. Now click on the notification ‘Careers’ placed in the footer of the website, which will later redirect you to further page. Here, click on the link, ‘Recruitment of Scientists & Engineer’ in the Head Quarters having  BE / B.Tech degree in any of the streams including electronics, mechanical and Computer Science. Now click on the ‘Apply’ tab and fill in all the required details following which the candidate will receive a confirmation of the application. Candidates are advised to download the confirmation page or take its screenshot for the printout which can be later used for future references.

However, the last date to apply for the ISRO recruitment 2018 for the 106 posts of Scientists / Engineers is February 20, 2018, while the written test will be conducted on Aprill 22, 208 followed by the Interview.

Eligibility criteria, application fee & selection procedure

ISRO has announced vacancies for 32 posts of Scientist/Engineer in Electronics, 45 posts of Scientist/ Engineer in Mechanical, and 29 posts of Scientist/Engineer in Computer Science. There is an age limit for the candidates applying for any of these posts. At the time of application, candidates should below the age of 30 years. Talking about the eligibility criteria, the candidates should have been passed in the first class in graduation obtaining an aggregate minimum mark of 65 percent, which is average for all semesters. Also, those who had appeared in their last semester and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for the job at ISRO.

The eligibility test for the recruitment of 106 posts of Scientists/ Engineers will be conducted by the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB). Only those who will qualify the written test followed by a personal interview will be appointed for the aforesaid posts. To complete the application process, candidates will have to submit the SBI Challan of Rs.100 as the fee at any of the State Bank of India.
