Vacancies in ISRO – According to the notifications of ISRO, There are total 84 vacancies in ISRO. For the post of Junior Research Fellows (JRF) in ISRO, there are 58 posts vacancies. For the post of Research Associates, there are 14 vacancies in ISRO. For the post of Technical Assistant (Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunication), there are total 02 vacancies in ISRO. For the post of Technical Assistant (Computer Science/ Information Technology), there is 1 vacancy in ISRO. For the post of Technical Assistant (Mechanical), there is 1 vacancy in ISRO. For the post of Scientific Assistant (Computer Science/ Information Technology), there is 1 vacancy in ISRO. For the post of Scientific Assistant (Physics/ Applied Physics), there are 03 vacancies. For the post of Scientific Assistant –A (Multimedia), there is 1 vacancy. For the post of Technician ‘B’ (Electrician) there are 02 vacancies and for the post of Technology / Information & Communication Technology System Maintenance / Information Technology & Electronics System Maintenance) there is 1 vacancy.
Salary – For the post of Junior Research Fellows (JRF), selected candidates will get Rs 25000 per month for 1st and 2nd year and after that Rs.28,000 per month. For the post of Research Associates selected candidates will get Research Associate – I Rs 36000 per month, Research Associate – II Rs 38000 per month, and Research Associate – III Rs 40000 per month. Technical Assistant will get Pay scale Level 7 in the Pay Matrix ( Rs 44,900 – 1,42,400). Scientific Assistant will get Pay scale Level 7 in the Pay Matrix ( Rs 44,900 – 1,42,400). For the post of Technician ‘B’ (Electrician) in ISRO selected candidates will get Pay scale Level – 3 in the Pay Matrix ( Rs 21,700 – 69,100).
ISRO SAC Recruitment 2017 – Education Qualifications
Education Qualifications for the various Posts in ISRO are as follows:
– For the post of Junior Research Fellows, candidates must have Master’s degree with NET and must have a First class with 65% marks.
– For the post of Research Associates candidate with Doctorate or equivalent degree in Science/Engineering/Technology can apply.
– For the post of Technical Assistant candidates having Diploma in the desired field can apply.
– For the post of Scientific Assistant candidates having B.S.c in the desired field can apply.
– For the post of Technician, the desired education qualification is Matric with ITI/NTC/NAC in Electrician Trade and ITI/NTC/NAC in Information Technology.
