Powerful Jaguar F-Type SVR launched in India 

The newly launched Jaguar F-Type SVR gets power from the same 5-litre, supercharged V8 petrol engine that powers the regular F-Type. Though the same engine yet minute changes have been done in the Jaguar F-Type SVR’s 5-litre, supercharged V8 petrol engine to make it powerful. The engine in the Jaguar F-Type SVR  has been tuned to churn out 567 bhp and 700 Nm of torque.

The powerful engine of the Jaguar F-Type SVR comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. This combination propels the car from 0-100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds. The Jaguar F-Type SVR easily reaches a top-speed of 322 kmph.

The convertible model of the Jaguar F-Type SVR also reaches the 0-100 kmph mark in the same time frame but the top-speed limit of the car has been controlled to 314 kmph. Besides the top speed, the Jaguar F-Type SVR  also gets all-wheel drive with torque vectoring, unlike the F-Type R, that supports rear-wheel drive.

Striking features of the newly launched Jaguar F-Type SVR 

As compared to the regular F-Type R model, the newly launched Jaguar F-Type SVR looks sharper and striking. Loaded with host of features on the interior as well as exterior the Jaguar F-Type SVR that has been recently launched in India, is undeniably a mean machine that can make anyone envious.

The Jaguar F-Type SVR comes with a carbon fibre body kit. This kit includes the rear spoiler, diffuser and front bumper. The titanium exhaust on the rear, adds to the sportier looks of the car. The Jaguar F-Type SVR  also gets LED headlights and tail lights that certainly adds to the appearance of the car when it starts getting dark. New 20-inch alloy wheels give it more grip on the road and the satin grey treatment gives it a sportier appearance.

The cabin of the Jaguar F-Type SVR  comes with a revised and more plush interiors. This includes the premium bespoke SVR seats, aluminum paddle shifters. What makes the interior of the Jaguar F-Type SVR more attractive is the SVR branding on the upholstery which has been merged beautifully with contrast stitching.

Control on the road and price

The company has claimed that the new F-Type SVR comes equipped with several aerodynamic enhancements. These enhancements include a wider spoiler and a precision front splitter. Technically, more elevated and wider wing gives a drag coefficient reduction of 2.5 per cent. The elevated and wider wing also gives a lift coefficient reduction of 15 per cent. The smooth underfloor and rear diffuser manage air flow besides reducing drag for improved stability in the newly launched Jaguar F-Type SVR.

The Jaguar F-Type SVR, one of the most powerful F type model, is available in both, convertible and coupe models. This newly launched Jaguar F-Type SVR has been launched with a price tag of Rs 2.62 crore and Rs 2.48 crore respectively. The price of the Jaguar F-Type SVR is ex-showroom India.
